I would like to lose a some pounds, and stay in shape. Since spring just started I will be excising a couple times a week, but I need a diet plan. Currently, I am eating whatever I get my eyes on. I am 117lbs, and 5″4′, and I am slowly gaining weight. What is a diet I can use, or what can I change my diet to, without getting sick from malnutrition, from being a teenage girl. I would really appreciate an organized, well working diet. Please and thank-you.

I know all about the pre-natal vitamins and extra folic acid, but I am assuming that that is not enough if you really want your body in a perfect condition for pregnancy.
Exactly how did you change your diet when you were ttc? And what else did you do?
My husband and I want to start a family, but I want to be sure that my body is ready for this, as I already had 2 miscarriages and I couldn’t bear another one!

what would your grandmother make for supper? that is a very good question to ask if you want to start eating healthier.
cook and buy foods that are grown.. not ones that have an expiration date of 2 years… (canned foods yuck!)
i read somewhere once that when at a grocery store its best to STAY AWAY from the middle section lol..
exercises is great too… but don’t over do it. try to get out side and go for long walks, and just try to stay active.
NOTE: its a good thing you are doing in wanting to be more healthy, but it probably won’t make much of a difference when it comes to miscarriages.. its not your fault when a baby doesn’t make it.. if the baby wasn’t strong enough it won’t live that is just the sad truth.. so don’t beat yourself up over that.

This is the best of the week – diet is off for the weekend. I went from 79kg to 76.3kg in a week. It is easy in the first week and the flab goes from my face first, but the rolls around the middle change liddle.

I need to stay on a low carb diet since I have candida, but I always end up getting horrible cravings and I feel very anxious on a diet that consists mostly of meats and low carb vegetables. So far, I’ve only been able to stay on the diet for ten days. Do the cravings ever completely subside? How can I feel satisfied on such a restricted diet and not feel so edgy all of the time?
